A downloadable game

FIRST STRIKE  - Firestrom (DEMO VERSION -> Not available)

Inspired by the vertically scrolling dojin shooter CHO REN SHA by Koichi (Fambine No Yosshin), this fast-paced shooter was created in which the player flies his spaceship through a variety of enemies in a top-down view.

The development of this game dates back to 2007 to test a 2D engine developed in-house based on DirecX7. Later, also based on DirectX7, a version was developed that was based on 3D technology.  FIRST STRIKE

Using the capabilities of the Untiy Engine, a new version of the game is now being developed. The new technology allows to focus more on the gameplay without having to go into the depths of the engine development.

Of course, the original concept and gameplay will not be changed. I hope that I will succeed in this and that the game will be able to delight many players.

Description

FirstStrike - Firestorm is an action-packed computer game where players take control of a powerful spacecraft from a top-down perspective. The galaxy is under threat from enemy forces, and it's up to you to combat them and save humanity!

Your mission is to stay vigilant and avoid enemy projectiles, as a single hit is enough to destroy your spaceship. However, you have three lives to withstand the onslaught. If you exhaust all your lives, you have the option to either start the game anew or continue from the level where you were destroyed. Keep in mind that starting a new game will reset your power-ups, but the choice is yours.

Throughout your adventure, you'll have the opportunity to upgrade your weaponry through four levels, enhancing your ability to dismantle enemy forces. Additionally, you can collect up to five devastating bombs, capable of obliterating enemies with incredible force. Exercise caution and strategic thinking when utilizing these bombs—they are a limited resource. Furthermore, you can obtain a protective shield that safeguards you from a single hit, but it comes at the cost of losing all your power-ups. Decide wisely when to deploy this shield, as it can be a game-changer.

At the end of each level, a formidable boss awaits, challenging you to defeat it in order to progress further. These epic battles demand skill, strategy, and lightning-fast reflexes. Will you have what it takes to overcome these adversaries and preserve the universe from impending doom?

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking world of FirstStrike - Firestorm, master the controls of your spacecraft, and become the ultimate guardian of the galaxy! Are you ready to seize the fate of humanity in your hands?

Player Controls

You can control the game using either the arrow keys or the WASD keys. Choose the control method that suits you best.

Weapons and Power-Ups:

  • When you start the game, the X key is preconfigured for your standard weapon. Press this key to engage in precise shooting against your enemies.
  • The C key is used to activate the devastating bomb. Use it wisely, as you can only carry five of them.
  • If you wish to change the key bindings, you can do so in the settings. Please note that certain keys, such as WASD, cannot be reassigned.

Audio Settings:

  • You have the option to adjust the volume. In the demo version, there is no music, so the music volume setting is disabled. However, you can customize the sound effects to your liking.

Graphics Settings:

  • By default, the game adapts to your system's resolution and starts in a borderless window, providing a seamless and immersive gaming experience.

Immerse yourself in the captivating world of FirstStrike - Firestorm and master the controls of your spacecraft as you battle relentless enemies. Customize the settings to match your preferences and experience thrilling action in an epic space adventure!
